Antenatal New Baby / Breastfeeding Class

Most women or childbearing people can breastfeed or chestfeed their babies if they want to and if they get the right support.  For the small number who can't produce enough milk to fully feed their baby the act of nursing still has many benefits for you both.
 
This online class will help you understand how your body prepares during pregnacy for lactation and how it will work in partnership with your baby after the birth. 
 
Topics covered will include normal newborn behaviour, the principles of position & attachment (really important so you are comfortable while feeding), how to maximise your supply and practical information about the early days with your new baby.
 
 
This class may be available in your own home - fees start at £130 depending on distance.
 
Available in South Wales and North Somerset areas.  Travel upto 15 miles of Ynysddu or Backwell is included in the fee.  Travel further afield may be possible but additional charges of £1 per mile, upto 1 hour travel time, will apply.

Payment should be made before the session, by bank transfer.
 
This class can also run as a group class from £30 online or £45 (with one partner) in Caerphilly - please contact me to express an interest.  Discounts are available for those who have undertaken a KGH course with me.
 
Bookings for an agreed date are non-refundable although rescheduling the date may be possible.  Group classes are non-refundable unless your baby arrives before the class or it is cancelled by the teacher and full payment is due two weeks before the class.
